Walking to the local beaches, whether it’s for a surf at Park Beach, a dip at Red Ochre beach or walking the dog towards Carlton Beach, will take you 5 minutes tops.

A leisurely wander will take you to breakfast at the local Park Cafe, or to get fish and chips from Beach Bums Cafe. Watch the surf and plan the activities for the day. With many top places to visit, all within an easy drive , such as MONA museum, Port Arthur and Triabunna, the Sandy Sister is the perfect base for exploring Southern Tasmania.
